Sanctions Screening Product Director, Payments

What you'll do

• Own and implement the global product vision and strategy for firmwide sanctions screening capabilities.
• Manage a multi-year product roadmap that supports screening across various asset types and business use cases.
• Identify and prioritize use cases based on risk reduction, regulatory expectations, and total cost of ownership.
• Establish product governance to maintain design principles, standards, and decision frameworks.
• Partner with Compliance, Risk, and Legal stakeholders to ensure all capabilities are defensible and exam-ready.
• Provide senior oversight of screening operations outcomes, including capacity planning, SLA performance, and quality assurance.
• Define and monitor key KPIs and KRIs to ensure platform stability and false positive reduction.
• Translate stakeholder needs into clear business requirements and epics to support technology execution.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of progressive Product Management experience within a bank, payments company, fintech, or regulated financial services environment.
• Demonstrated success building and scaling complex, cross-functional products/services with measurable outcomes and strong governance.
• Strong understanding of sanctions screening concepts and operating ecosystems.
• Deep knowledge of APIs and platform product practices.
• Exceptional executive communication skills (written and verbal).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Experience delivering screening/controls capabilities across multiple asset types, products, or lines of business (preferred).
• Product experience in identity/verification, KYC/KYB, beneficiary validation, payment instrument validation, or trust & safety programs (preferred).
