The Director of Product Management – Open USD joins the Stablecoin team to lead the strategy and delivery of scalable capabilities for partner onboarding, Know Your Business (KYB), compliance, and partner data management. This leader will define the global product vision, establish roadmap priorities, and guide the development of workflows, platforms, and automation required to expand Open USD across markets. The role involves managing the compliance and onboarding product portfolio, including identity verification, case management, and lifecycle data management. Key responsibilities include aligning global platform standards with jurisdiction-specific requirements for screening, data residency, and auditability. The position requires expertise in stablecoins, blockchain technology, and financial crime controls. Candidates must utilize tools like Jira Align, Jira, and Postman to manage requirements, API testing, and release governance within a regulated financial infrastructure.
Set the global product strategy and multi-year roadmap for Open USD compliance, KYB, and partner onboarding.
Lead the expansion of compliance and KYB capabilities into new regions by translating local regulatory requirements into scalable product configurations.
Establish a global-to-local product framework that maintains enterprise standards while supporting jurisdiction-specific needs for entity verification and data residency.
Own the compliance and onboarding product portfolio, including identity verification, case management, and lifecycle data management.
Drive automation and operating-model transformation by replacing manual processes with reusable platform services and configurable workflows.
Direct market-entry readiness for new regions by defining product gaps, regulatory dependencies, and launch criteria.
Guide engineering and data architecture priorities for onboarding automation, third-party integrations, and system-of-record strategy.
Define portfolio governance for prioritization, funding, risk acceptance, and cross-functional dependency management.
What we're looking for
10+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, OR 13+ years of relevant work experience.
Extensive experience leading digital product portfolios, platform strategies, and multi-year roadmaps in complex, global organizations (preferred).
Demonstrated experience developing compliance, KYB, onboarding, financial crime, identity, risk, or regulated financial-services products at scale (preferred).
Experience expanding products into new countries and translating local regulatory, licensing, and data residency requirements into scalable capabilities (preferred).
Deep knowledge of the cryptocurrency and stablecoin ecosystem, including permissionless blockchain technology and tokenized money (preferred).
Strong understanding of banking and payment systems, including cross-border money movement, clearing, settlement, and financial crime controls (preferred).
Proven ability to influence executives, secure alignment across functions, and make balanced decisions across growth, technology, and risk (preferred).
Strong command of product management and agile delivery practices, including outcome-based roadmaps and portfolio prioritization (preferred).
