Sales Specialist, Security

What you'll do

• Manage senior-level business relationships to identify security opportunities and build cases for closing sales.
• Lead end-to-end security conversations with customers to share best practices and competitor knowledge.
• Coordinate with a virtual team of internal resources and partners to execute cross-sell and up-sell strategies.
• Map external stakeholders to implement strategies that accelerate deal closures and drive product consumption.
• Manage the end-to-end security pipeline for an assigned territory including forecasting and portfolio planning.
• Conduct business analysis to identify high-potential customers and develop targeted lead lists.
• Obtain relevant product certifications and complete training aligned with specific workloads and industries.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in technology-related sales or account management.
• 7+ years of security-related sales or account management experience in an industry such as Healthcare, Government, or Finance is preferred.
• 4+ years of solution or services sales experience is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Security and/or Compliance products is preferred.
• Preferred certifications include CISSP, CCSP, SC-500, or AZ-900.
• Technical knowledge of cloud security technologies including threat protection, CNAPP, SIEM, and Identity and Access Management.
• Familiarity with AI-based security offerings like Security Copilot, Microsoft 365 Defender, XDR, and Sentinel is a plus.
