Senior Solution Area Specialists - Security will join the Microsoft Security organization to support enterprise, regulated, and partner services groups. In this role, you will identify security opportunities, build comprehensive solutions, and lead consultative conversations to win technical decisions. You will collaborate with virtual teams and partners to orchestrate end-to-end security opportunities, manage territory pipelines, and conduct business analysis to drive digital transformation. Key responsibilities include assessing customer needs, sharing best practices, and providing competitor knowledge. Required skills include technology-related sales or account management experience and a Bachelor's degree. Preferred technical competencies include cloud security technologies like threat protection, CNAPP, SIEM, and identity management. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Defender, Sentinel, XDR, and AI-based offerings like Security Copilot is also highly valued.

Lead consultative conversations to demonstrate security solutions and share industry best practices.

What we're looking for
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Must have 4+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience.
Must have authorization to work in the United States that does not require employer sponsorship.
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Information Security, or related field and 8+ years of technology-related sales experience (preferred).
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security, or related field and 12+ years of technology-related sales experience (preferred).
8+ years of security-related sales or account management experience in an industry such as Healthcare, Government, or Finance (preferred).
6+ years of solution or services sales experience (preferred).
Domain experience in Microsoft Security and/or Compliance products (preferred).
