Sales Engineer – Unmanned Systems joins the Sales Engineering team to provide tailored solutions for mission-critical applications in defense, law enforcement, and public safety. Provide pre- and post-sales technical support including system planning, customer training, and system optimization.
Become an expert on the operation and application of Silvus radio and networking solutions.
Prepare and conduct product demonstrations for customer visits and equipment evaluations.
Visit customer sites to provide hands-on technical support and deliver training.
Troubleshoot hardware failures and abnormal situations in the field.
Analyze field failures and provide feedback to the engineering team to drive product development.
Manage resource allocation and hardware maintenance to support sales and business development activities.
Travel over 50% of the time for meetings, events, and demonstrations.
What we're looking for
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have an active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with at least 2 years of pre- and post-sales technical support experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of experience.
Proficiency with RF instruments such as signal generators and spectrum analyzers.
Willingness to travel over 50% for meetings, events, and demonstrations.
Familiarity with Linux (preferred).
Proficiency with TCP/IP protocol and networking (preferred).
Experience operating/testing IP radios, knowledge of wireless systems, or proficiency in C/C++ (preferred).
