RMF Cybersecurity Engineer

What you'll do

• Identify NIST controls and documentation required to assess vulnerabilities and recommend security strategies.
• Lead the development and implementation of security solutions for multi-national communications and exercises.
• Troubleshoot and analyze complex cybersecurity challenges for customers.
• Assess security threats and implement infrastructure controls using ACAS, eMASS, and NIST 800-53.
• Drive scans and analyze policies to assist mission partners with connectivity.
• Implement infrastructure and cybersecurity controls to improve detection and event correlation in large enterprises.
• Perform risk and vulnerability assessments across network, system, and application areas.
• Leverage big data analytics to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise.

What we're looking for

• Experience assessing, auditing, configuring, and authorizing information systems.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, system administration, compliance, vulnerability assessments, Risk Management Framework, eMASS, NIST 800-53, r5, and ACAS.
• Ability to determine solutions to challenging and evolving cybersecurity requirements.
• HS diploma or GED.
• IAT level II 8570 Certification such as Security+, CySA+, SSCP, GSEC, CND, or CICSP.
• Experience as an Information System Security Officer (preferred).
• Knowledge of a critical agency’s processes or procedures (preferred).
• Secret clearance.
