Cybersecurity and RMF Engineer, Mid

What you'll do

• Oversee the development and implementation of security solutions to protect military systems.
• Supervise a team to troubleshoot and analyze complex network and security challenges.
• Research technology and market trends to further develop security solutions.
• Assess security threats and implement infrastructure controls using low-code/no-code systems.
• Manage infrastructure and cybersecurity controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities.
• Lead risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas.
• Leverage big data analytics and security event types to identify advanced threats.
• Develop SSP or ATO packages for systems deployed in cloud environments.

What we're looking for

• HS diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience with RMF, NIST 800-53, Zero Trust, STIGs, vulnerability management, ATO packages, POA&Ms, continuous monitoring, or secure cloud.
• 2+ years of experience as an ISSO, ISSE, or ISSM.
• Experience in cybersecurity engineering and RMF alignment for secure architecture, controls implementation, scanning, evidence generation, and POA&M tracking in IL5-ready environments.
• Ability to work with development teams to select suitable controls.
• 2+ years of experience setting-up or working with DevSecOps pipeline security tools, scanning, and reporting (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience supporting and helping configure in a DevOps team (preferred).
• Secret clearance.
