As a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer, you will join the team to protect military infrastructure and enhance the cybersecurity posture of Navy missions. What you'll do

Identify tools and systems needed to assess vulnerabilities and recommend security strategies.
Develop and implement security solutions to protect military infrastructure and operations.
Perform risk and vulnerability assessments across network, system, and application areas.
Implement infrastructure controls including enhanced detection capabilities and event correlation.
Manage Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, including the development of artifacts and packages.
Conduct cybersecurity compliance testing using industry standard tools to remediate vulnerabilities.
Utilize big data analytics to identify advanced threats and indicators of compromise.
Process security packages through eMASS workflows and develop written risk mitigations.

What we're looking for

TS/SCI clearance is required.
High school diploma or GED is required.
DoD 8140 Certification is required.
Must have 3+ years of experience working with IT systems for a DoD or government agency.
Must have 3+ years of experience leading Navy Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities and maintaining RMF artifacts.
Must have 3+ years of experience implementing security controls, performing compliance testing, and conducting vulnerability analysis.
Experience with operating systems (Windows, Linux), cloud/virtualization, and network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls).
Experience with eMASS for Security Plan development and processing packages through workflows.
Experience with ACAS, STIGs, and Evaluate-STIG (preferred).
Experience integrating security into DevOps or DevSecOps pipelines (preferred).
Experience implementing automation methodologies and processes (preferred).
Master's degree (preferred).
CCNA or equivalent certification (preferred).
