RMF Cybersecurity Engineer

What you'll do

• Identify NIST controls and documentation needed to assess vulnerabilities and recommend security strategies.
• Lead the development and implementation of security solutions for multi-national communication and collaboration.
• Troubleshoot and analyze complex cybersecurity challenges for customers based on specific requirements.
• Use ACAS, eMASS, and NIST 800-53 knowledge to assess threats and implement infrastructure controls.
• Drive scans, analyze policies, and assist mission partners with network connectivity.
• Implement security controls including enhanced detection, vulnerability capabilities, and event correlation in large enterprises.
• Perform risk and vulnerability assessments across networks, systems, and applications using big data analytics.

What we're looking for

• Experience assessing, auditing, configuring, and authorizing information systems.
• Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF), eMASS, NIST 800-53, r5, and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).
• Ability to determine solutions for complex and evolving cybersecurity requirements.
• Secret clearance required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification such as Security+, CySA+, SSCP, GSEC, CND, or CICSP.
• Experience as an Information System Security Officer (preferred).
• Knowledge of a critical agency’s processes or procedures (preferred).
