Cybersecurity Engineer

What you'll do

• Identify necessary tools and recommend security strategies to assess vulnerabilities.
• Troubleshoot and analyze complex challenges involving network devices, applications, and security tools.
• Research and develop new security solutions based on technology trends.
• Implement infrastructure controls and enhanced detection capabilities for large enterprises.
• Perform risk and vulnerability assessments across networks, systems, and applications.
• Utilize big data analytics to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise.
• Respond to security breaches to re-establish protections and generate required reports.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering in a professional work environment.
• Experience planning, implementing, upgrading, or monitoring cybersecurity measures to maintain a cyber-resilient network.
• Experience assessing cybersecurity vulnerabilities and proposing remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies.
• Ability to ensure security controls are in place to safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure.
• Ability to respond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports.
• TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics.
• DoD 8570.1M Level I certification such as Security+, IAM, IAT, or IASAE; advanced cybersecurity or engineering certifications (preferred).
