Information Systems Security Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and implement security solutions to protect USAF cloud infrastructure.
• Implement infrastructure and cybersecurity controls to improve detection and event correlation.
• Perform risk and vulnerability assessments across network, system, and application areas.
• Use big data analytics and security event types to identify advanced threats.
• Analyze compliance and vulnerability scan results to implement appropriate mitigations.
• Write and review RMF artifacts for ATO accreditation packages.
• Troubleshoot complex network and cyber device challenges for customers.
• Research and develop new security solutions based on technology and market trends.

What we're looking for

• TS/SCI clearance is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• DoD 8570 IAM Level II Certification is required.
• 7+ years of experience implementing NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) is required.
• 3+ years of experience providing leadership as an ISSO or ISSM is required.
• Experience writing or reviewing RMF artifacts for ATO accreditation packages is required.
• Experience analyzing compliance and vulnerability scan results and implementing mitigations is required.
• Experience supporting network servers, devices, or protocols is required.
• Experience using SIEM tools such as Splunk or Elastic is required.
• Experience supporting JSIG in classified environments (preferred).
• Experience with eMASS (preferred).
• Experience in Special Access IT (preferred).
• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity (preferred).
• DoD 8140 Security Architect Advanced Certification (preferred).
