RFIC Design Engineer

What you'll do

• Deliver RFIC designs for wireless SoCs from initial concept and architecture through to mass production.
• Perform transistor-level feasibility studies and analyze trade-offs between power, area, and performance.
• Design and deliver radio transceiver building blocks including TX, RX, and PLL-LOGen components.
• Develop RF and Analog loopbacks for system calibration and compensation.
• Design circuits to meet specific Co-Existence requirements in complex wireless environments.
• Collaborate with test engineers to debug and optimize the wireless connectivity chip during productization.
• Correlate design measurements against silicon results to ensure compliance with production specifications.

What we're looking for

• BS degree and 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Expertise in analog, mixed-signal, and RF circuit design including LNAs, PAs, PLL/VCO/DCO/LOGEN blocks, mixers, and data converters.
• Understanding of analog design concepts such as noise analysis, linearity, mismatch, stability, and other impairments.
• Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre RF, Matlab, and EM simulation tools like EMX or HFSS.
• Experience in silicon characterization and debugging.
• MSEE and PhD plus relevant industry experience (preferred).
• Deep experience crafting and bringing wireless transceivers into mass production (preferred).
• Familiarity with mixed-signal mode verification methodology such as SystemVerilog, AMS, or Nanotime (preferred).
