What you'll do

Perform quality control inspections of avionics installations, modifications, repairs, and alterations on aircraft components.
Verify that all work complies with FAA, CAA, and company airworthiness requirements before flight activities.
Review and interpret wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, 3D models, and installation documentation to ensure conformity.
Validate configuration changes, drawing revisions, and approval substantiations during project execution.
Audit maintenance and inspection records for accuracy, completeness, and timely return-to-service documentation.
Coordinate electrical and mechanical requirements with production teams during aircraft modification activities.
Maintain accurate and legible inspection records to support the production of complete aircraft documentation packages.
Provide guidance and mentoring to technicians regarding quality standards and documentation practices.

What we're looking for

High School Diploma or GED required.
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required.
Six years of aviation maintenance experience in avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical systems.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems including the ability to read wiring diagrams, 3D models, and blueprints.
Working knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems and methodologies.
Ability to perform shop mathematics and interpret engineering documentation and revisions.
Experience supporting aircraft certification, STC, or modification programs (preferred).
Ability to work in confined spaces, on elevated platforms, and lift up to 50 pounds.
