Rack Deployment Manager

What you'll do

• Translate capacity, network, and supply chain inputs into executable deployment schedules and milestone plans.
• Coordinate rack placement, cabling, power/cooling availability, and energization sequencing across cross-functional teams.
• Manage readiness gates for MEP status, commissioning prerequisites, material availability, and site access requirements.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to schedule, quality, safety, and supply chain issues early in the process.
• Oversee rack energization and turn-up activities by ensuring all MOPs, SOPs, and safety protocols are in place.
• Develop and maintain deployment playbooks, reporting mechanisms, and lessons-learned loops to improve consistency.
• Track and report key performance indicators including schedule adherence, blocker aging, and turnover completeness.
• Ensure a clean handoff to operations with validated assets, complete documentation, and no unresolved risks.

What we're looking for

• Must have 8+ years of experience in data center infrastructure deployment, rack integration, or similar complex infrastructure environments.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional deployment work in mission-critical, high-availability, or hyperscale technical environments is required.
• Proven ability to manage complex schedules, deployment dependencies, operational risks, and vendor performance.
• Expertise in rack deployment, energization, structured cabling, and data center capacity delivery is required.
• Must possess a strong understanding of power, cooling, network, change control, and safety protocols.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive accountability across teams without direct authority.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Project management, Lean, Six Sigma, ITIL, or PMP certifications are considered a plus.
