JOB TITLE: Project Manager Intern - Entry Level Sales Program 2027 As an AI Technical intern, you will join the Global Markets organization to help partners deploy and adopt the IBM software portfolio, specifically focusing on watsonx offerings. You will work closely with product managers and development teams to understand business requirements and implement solutions for complex challenges. Your daily responsibilities include coding and building MVPs, designing architectures compatible with partner technology stacks, and leading persuasive technical conversations. You will perform hands-on engineering activities to install, develop, and configure AI technologies in production environments. Required skills include Python, LLMs, and Generative AI programming frameworks. Preferred experience includes RedHat OpenShift, Kubernetes, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Engineering techniques like Spark, and Unix software installs to drive expansion and renewal growth for enterprise clients.

What you'll do

Design and articulate solution architectures compatible with a partner’s existing technology stack.
Build and code Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) using Python, open source frameworks, and IBM products.
Install, develop, train, and deploy enterprise applications in partner development or production environments.
Lead technical discussions to persuade partners to adopt IBM AI and Hybrid Cloud solutions.
Conduct use case exploration and business framing workshops to develop client value realization models.
Create and package solution demonstrations as assets for digital partner engagement channels.
Act as a technical subject matter expert to guide enterprise companies through AI implementation.

What we're looking for

High School Diploma/GED.
Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
Future B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent technical degree/experience.
Hands-on development skills using Python, LLMs, and popular GenAI programming frameworks.
Experience with RedHat OpenShift and Kubernetes (preferred).
Experience with Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Large Language Models, and Generative AI (preferred).
Experience with Data Engineering techniques, Lakehouse technologies, and Unix software installs (preferred).
