JOB TITLE: Software Engineer Intern - Entry Level Sales Program 2027 As a Software Engineer Intern, you will join the Global Markets organization to help partners deploy and adopt the IBM software portfolio, specifically focusing on watsonx offerings. What you'll do

Design and articulate architectures compatible with a partner’s technology stack.
Build MVPs using Python, open source frameworks, and the RedHat and IBM product portfolio.
Install, develop, train, deploy, and configure IBM AI technologies in partner environments.
Lead technical discussions to persuade partners to adopt IBM solutions based on their requirements.

What we're looking for

High School Diploma/GED.
Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
Future B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent technical degree/experience.
Hands-on development skills using Python, LLMs, and popular GenAI programming frameworks.
Ability to install, develop, train, deploy, configure, and run IBM AI technologies in production environments.
Experience with RedHat OpenShift and Kubernetes (preferred).
Experience with Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Large Language Models, and Generative AI (preferred).
Experience with Data Engineering techniques, Lakehouse technologies, and Unix software installs (preferred).
