JOB TITLE: 2027 Technical Sales Engineer Co-Op - Entry Level Sales Program As a Technical Sales Engineer Co-Op within the Sales Technical team, you will join a collaborative environment to help clients design, demonstrate, and deliver solutions across AI, hybrid cloud, automation, data, and security. You will participate in discovery sessions to understand business objectives, design technical solution approaches, and build demonstrations, proofs of concept, and workshops. Your daily work involves translating complex technical concepts into clear business value for diverse stakeholders and supporting customer adoption by identifying deployment considerations. You will utilize the watsonx platform to develop and deploy AI systems. Required skills include foundational knowledge of cloud computing, software development, and cybersecurity, along with proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++, and experience using AI-assisted development tools.

What you'll do

Participate in client discovery sessions to identify business objectives and technical requirements.
Design and validate technical solution approaches across AI, cloud, data, and security capabilities.
Build and deliver demonstrations, proofs of concept, and technical presentations for clients.
Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Support customer adoption by defining use cases and removing technical barriers to deployment.
Present technical findings and solution recommendations to business and technical stakeholders.
Contribute reusable assets and technical best practices to accelerate client success and solution adoption.

What we're looking for

High School Diploma/GED.
Registered undergraduate or graduate university student.
Seeking a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field by the start date (preferred).
Foundational knowledge of cloud computing, software development, AI, automation, data, or cybersecurity.
Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools to prototype, build, or troubleshoot applications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
Leadership experience through student organizations, athletics, volunteer work, or competitions (preferred).
