What you'll do

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug complex electro-mechanical equipment, computer systems, and networked software.
Provide high-level technical support to customers for sophisticated products and services.
Formulate root cause hypotheses, detailed problem statements, and action plans based on data analysis.
Provide remote and on-site escalation management to resolve critical customer issues.
Act as a technical mentor for field engineers and design or conduct training sessions.
Interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operating manuals to solve problems.
Share technical knowledge within the global community to enhance worldwide learning.
Communicate with customers at a technical level to influence decisions and ensure satisfaction.

What we're looking for

Minimum 12 years experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 8 years with a Master's, or a PhD with 5 years experience.
Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operating manuals.
Proficiency in computer applications including data analysis tools, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
Ability to formulate root cause hypotheses, perform data analysis, and develop action plans.
Experience providing remote and on-site escalation support for complex electro-mechanical systems.
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment while wearing personal protective equipment.
Availability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and travel domestically and internationally.
Familiarity with software structures, directory troubleshooting, and Analog-to-Digital I/O devices is preferred.
