What you'll do

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex electro-mechanical equipment, computer systems, and networked software.
Provide technical support to customers for highly sophisticated products and services.
Formulate root cause hypotheses and develop detailed action plans based on data analysis.
Manage remote and on-site escalations while coordinating multiple technical tasks simultaneously.
Act as a technical mentor for field engineers and design training sessions.
Interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manuals to resolve issues.
Communicate with customers at a technical level to influence decision-making and provide credible recommendations.
Share knowledge within the global technical community to enhance worldwide learning and application.

What we're looking for

A PhD with 3+ years of experience, an MS/Engineering degree with 6+ years, or a BS with 8+ years of experience is required.
Ability to interpret and work from electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manuals.
Proficiency in computer applications including data analysis tools, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
Experience formulating root cause hypotheses, detailed problem statements, and action plans based on data analysis.
Ability to provide remote and on-site escalation support while troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical and networked systems.
Capability to work in a clean room environment and stand or sit for prolonged periods in demanding conditions.
Availability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Preferred familiarity with software structures, directory structures, and Analog-to-Digital I/O devices.
