As a Product Support Engineer 5 within the Customer Support Business Group, you will serve as the technical backbone for field engineers and technicians by providing high-level support for sophisticated equipment. You will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex electro-mechanical systems, computer systems, software, and networked or wireless networks. Your daily work involves formulating root cause hypotheses, managing escalations, and providing credible recommendations to build customer confidence. You must be proficient in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, utilizing data analysis tools, and navigating directory structures. Preferred skills include familiarity with Control Works level troubleshooting and Analog-to-Digital I/O devices like IOC, SIOC, and EIOC. This role addresses the technical challenges of maintaining critical equipment performance while providing mentorship and training to the broader worldwide technical community in a demanding environment.
