As a Product Owner - Unstructured Data & AI, you will join the Consumer & Community Banking Data & Analytics Unstructured Data Products team to unlock value from documents, conversations, images, audio, and video. You will define the strategy, vision, and roadmap for unstructured data products, turning ambiguous business challenges into scalable, governed, and reusable enterprise assets for AI. Your daily work involves partnering with business leaders and data owners to identify high-value opportunities, building coalitions across technology and risk teams, and leading multidisciplinary teams to build standards for publishing and consuming AI-ready data. You must possess technical fluency in unstructured data pipelines, metadata, taxonomy, search, retrieval, chunking, indexing, and evaluation. This role solves the problem of transforming multimodal data into trusted assets for an AI-enabled future.
Define the strategy, vision, roadmap, and priorities for unstructured data products across the organization.
Identify high-value business opportunities and transform them into governed, reusable data products.
Lead consultative discovery to translate ambiguous business challenges into clear product concepts and actionable plans.
Develop executive narratives and business cases to secure stakeholder support and establish project urgency.
Guide multidisciplinary teams in building scalable capabilities for publishing and consuming AI-ready unstructured data.
Lead lighthouse products and pilots to measure adoption and business value across the enterprise.
Ensure all products and operating models meet governance, privacy, compliance, and risk requirements.
What we're looking for
7+ years of experience in product management, strategy, consulting, data, technology transformation, data science, or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to turn ambiguous, complex problems into clear strategies, actionable roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
Strong strategic thinking and product leadership skills, including opportunity discovery, prioritization, experimentation, delivery, adoption, and value measurement.
Exceptional executive communication and storytelling skills to simplify complex topics for technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior stakeholders across business, data, technology, risk, and control organizations.
Technical fluency in unstructured data and AI to translate capabilities and governance requirements into practical product decisions.
Working knowledge of unstructured data pipelines, metadata, taxonomy, search, retrieval, chunking, indexing, evaluation, and governance.
Experience in consulting, financial services, enterprise data, or technology industries (preferred).
Master's degree in business, computer science, information science, data science, or a related discipline (preferred).
Experience using AI productivity tools, connectors, agent skills, workflow automation, or context-curation techniques (preferred).
