Manager, Product Owner, Data Curation

What you'll do

• Define and maintain the product backlog by creating user stories, enablers, and technical debt items.
• Translate data curation strategies into a prioritized roadmap to deliver business value across analytics and reporting.
• Perform hands-on data exploration and prototyping using BigQuery SQL to validate business assumptions.
• Lead core Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, and Retrospectives for the engineering Pod.
• Enforce data governance standards and metadata management to ensure high-quality curated data assets.
• Implement automated data validation processes to verify curated assets against trusted source systems.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to business units to uphold platform standards and improve data management practices.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Product Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, or Data Manager in modern enterprise data platform environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
• SAFe POPM or CSPO certifications (preferred).
• Proficiency in querying data using SQL to validate assumptions and drive data-informed decisions.
• Deep understanding of the complete trade lifecycle and financial derivatives, including market liquidity, order book mechanics, and risk management.
• Hands-on knowledge of CME Group's Exchange Data sets (preferred).
• Experience with modern data lakehouse architectures, enterprise data warehousing, and BI visualization tools (preferred).
