The Product Development Program Manager joins the Energy Components team to lead complex product development programs supporting the Cardiac Rhythm Management strategy. This role is responsible for driving program execution, advancing project management capabilities, and partnering with business leaders to prioritize initiatives that align with portfolio objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing integrated project plans, schedules, budgets, resource strategies, and risk mitigation across multiple projects while ensuring alignment with Product Development Process requirements. The candidate will lead cross-functional teams through R&D, Operations, Technology, Supply Management, Quality, and Reliability functions to meet milestones and quality goals. Key competencies involve driving continuous improvement in program management best practices and managing complex budgets including human resources, component builds, and supplier materials. This role addresses the technical challenge of advancing technologies and processes that support the Cardiac Rhythm Management portfolio for heart rhythm disorders.
Lead cross-functional product development programs from initiation through completion while ensuring alignment with business objectives and process requirements.
Develop and execute integrated project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource strategies, and risk mitigation plans for multiple projects.
Direct cross-functional teams to achieve specific program milestones, quality objectives, and organizational commitments.
Monitor program performance and implement corrective actions to ensure execution remains within scope, schedule, and budget targets.
Coordinate and align stakeholders across R&D, Operations, Technology, Supply Management, Quality, and Reliability functions.
Manage project budgets encompassing human resources, component builds, supplier materials, and internal/external capital.
Drive continuous improvement by implementing program management best practices and standardizing product development processes.
Partner with leadership to prioritize strategic project opportunities and provide feedback during the annual planning process.
What we're looking for
Candidates must have a Baccalaureate degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Candidates with an advanced degree must have at least 3 years of relevant experience.
For degrees earned outside the U.S., the degree must satisfy 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).
Candidates must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment.
Experience in leading cross-functional product development programs from initiation through closure is required.
Ability to develop and execute integrated project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource strategies, and risk mitigation.
Proficiency in managing project budgets covering human resources, materials, capital, and general expenses.
Ability to drive continuous improvement by implementing program management best practices and functional work standards.
