Sr PD Program Manager
As a Sr PD Program Manager within the Neuromodulation portfolio, you will lead cross-functional teams through every phase of product development, from initial concept and design to manufacturing readiness, launch, and commercialization. You are responsible for driving program execution, aligning stakeholders across R&D, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical, Operations, Marketing, and Supply Chain functions. Your daily work involves developing integrated program plans, managing budgets and resources, identifying risks, and ensuring compliance with design controls and regulatory requirements. The role focuses on solving complex problems in the medical device space, specifically involving neurological and spinal care technologies like Deep Brain Stimulation and pain interventions. You will utilize core competencies in project management, risk mitigation, and strategic planning to navigate regulated product development environments while ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare technologies for patients with chronic conditions.
Lead cross-functional teams through all phases of product development from concept to commercialization.
Develop and maintain integrated program plans, schedules, budgets, and resource strategies.
Align stakeholders across R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, Operations, Marketing, and Supply Chain functions.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies while ensuring timely escalation.
Provide leadership during design, verification, validation, manufacturing characterization, and production ramp activities.
Monitor program performance using established metrics and communicate status updates to leadership.
Ensure all programs comply with Medtronic quality systems, design controls, and regulatory requirements.
Support strategic portfolio planning and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development predictability.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience in program management, project management, product development, engineering, or a related medical device discipline.
Advanced degree and 5+ years of relevant experience in program management, project management, product development, engineering, or a related medical device discipline.
Experience leading cross-functional teams through multiple phases of product development and commercialization.
