TL;DR · Technical Project/Program Management Director

The Technical Project/Program Management Director serves as a central orchestrator for complex module programs across Logic and Memory business units. This role involves managing the full customer engagement lifecycle, including technology review meetings, yield improvement task forces, and cost reduction initiatives. The individual will lead end-to-end program management, coordinate global teams across multiple time zones, and manage risk and decision-making processes to ensure high-volume manufacturing enablement. Key responsibilities include preparing executive-level materials for customer leadership and aligning cross-functional teams on technical roadmaps. Candidates must possess deep knowledge of semiconductor process technologies such as DRAM, BEOL integration, etch, and deposition. Required skills include proficiency in Product Development Process frameworks, phase-gate methodologies, and program management tools like Accolade or PDBoK. The role addresses the challenge of aligning complex technical requirements with business objectives for major semiconductor manufacturers.

What you'll do

  • Lead end-to-end program management for strategic customer engagements including technology reviews, yield improvements, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Prepare and present executive-level materials and technical summaries for meetings with customer VPs, CTOs, and internal leadership.
  • Drive alignment across multiple business units and integrated development teams through structured review cadences.
  • Coordinate program execution across global sites in the US, Korea, Japan, and Taiwan while managing different time zones.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks by performing trade-off assessments and critical-path analyses to ensure timely decision-making.
  • Maintain disciplined program rigor including meeting minutes, action item tracking, and detailed milestone reporting.
  • Partner with business development teams to translate customer requirements into actionable program plans and development priorities.

What we're looking for

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related semiconductor discipline.
  • 12+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • At least 5 years of experience in technical program management, business management, or engineering leadership roles.
  • Strong working knowledge of advanced semiconductor process technologies including DRAM, Logic/Foundry nodes, BEOL integration, FEOL device engineering, etch, deposition, and module integration.
  • Proven track record managing programs with major semiconductor manufacturers at the VP/Director level and above.
  • Experience in semiconductor equipment or materials companies (preferred).
  • Bilingual skills in English/Korean, English/Mandarin, or English/Japanese (preferred).
