What we're looking for

  • A Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field with 3+ years of experience is required.
  • A PhD degree is accepted as an alternative to the Master's and experience requirement.
  • Equivalent professional experience may be substituted for the specified educational requirements.
  • Experience with surface preparation and analytical techniques in a laboratory or on semiconductor equipment is preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or other scientific computing languages is preferred.
  • Knowledge of material synthesis, characterization, and specific deposition or etching technologies like ALD, CVD, PECVD, PVD, RIE, ALE, ICP, or CCP is preferred.
  • Experience with statistical tools such as JMP or Minitab and problem-solving methodologies is preferred.
