The role requires expertise in material science, surface engineering, and chemical engineering principles. You will utilize tools such as MATLAB, Python, JMP, or Minitab while applying Statistical Process Control and Design of Experiments methodologies. Technical focus areas include Atomic Layer Deposition, Chemical Vapor Deposition, Plasma Physics, Reactive Ion Etching, and various material characterization techniques to solve complex semiconductor manufacturing challenges.

What we're looking for
Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related field with 3+ years of experience; or a PhD with no professional experience; or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with working in a laboratory and on semiconductor equipment with experience in surface preparation and analytical techniques (preferred).
In-depth understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE) (preferred).
Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or other similar scientific computing languages (preferred).
Working knowledge of statistical analysis and problem-solving methodologies (preferred).
Experience with statistical tools such as JMP or Minitab (preferred).
Background in ALD, CVD, PECVD, PVD, Plasma Physics, RIE, ALE, ICP, or CCP (preferred).
Knowledge of material synthesis and characterization (preferred).
