What you'll do

  • Identify and implement workflow improvements to increase sample throughput and reliability.
  • Collaborate with tool vendors to develop new automation workflows and improve existing ones.
  • Develop Ifast automation recipes to enhance lab production capabilities.

  • Provide technical support for automation production recovery when needed.

What we're looking for

  • A Master's degree or PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field is required.
  • Candidates with a BS degree in a physical science must have 10 years of experience.
  • Experience with AutoTEM and Ifast automation development environments is preferred.
  • Experience with TEM automation is preferred.
  • Experience operating dual beam FIB/SEM tools for thin lamella preparation is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the physics involved with FIB/SEM tools, such as vacuum systems and ion sputtering behavior, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor industry materials and developments is preferred.
  • Experience creating technical documentation and handling customer IP is preferred.
