Process Development Engineer I

What you'll do

• Initiate process improvements to increase factory output and reduce production cycle times.
• Create, update, and maintain manufacturing procedures, methods, and operation sequences for sub-assemblies and final products.
• Investigate and vet new material handling systems and equipment for use in production.
• Implement new tools and equipment while providing necessary training to operators per safety requirements.
• Estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and recommend tooling and automation requirements.
• Lead Engineering Change Management across the entire product life cycle.
• Coordinate with Planning, Operations, and Finance to manage budgets and capacity requirements.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Strong engineering problem solving, interpersonal communication, and decision-making skills.
• Previous experience in Manufacturing or Process engineering (preferred).
• Automation support experience with robotics, cobots, and vision systems (preferred).
