What you'll do

  • Design and deliver instructor-led workshops, virtual training, and self-paced learning programs for regulated medical device software development.
  • Create role-based learning paths, certifications, and onboarding programs for engineers, product managers, and quality professionals.
  • Translate complex regulatory requirements, risk management, and systems engineering concepts into practical, hands-on training experiences.
  • Develop educational content covering SaMD lifecycle, design controls, traceability, hazard analysis, and AI governance.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to transform technical knowledge into scalable learning strategies and tools.
  • Create diverse learning assets including simulations, labs, job aids, videos, and certification modules.
  • Measure training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and adoption metrics to continuously improve content.
  • Teach teams how to operationalize compliance standards such as IEC 62304, ISO 13485, and FDA guidelines.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Healthcare Technology, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in medical device software, healthcare technology, quality engineering, systems engineering, regulatory affairs, product development, technical program management, or technical learning.
  • Experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare, medical devices, or Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) environments.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle processes.
  • Direct experience with requirements engineering, risk management, hazard analysis, traceability, verification and validation, technical documentation, design controls, or quality systems.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills to influence highly technical audiences across multiple organizations.
  • Proficiency in instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
