What you'll do

Architect and develop scalable distributed systems that support horizontal and vertical scaling using distributed state management tools.
Optimize code and data paths for high-throughput, hyper-scale workloads and large-scale data processing.
Design fault-tolerant systems featuring redundancy, replication, failover mechanisms, and load-shedding to maintain service level objectives.
Establish telemetry, KPIs, and automated alerting systems to proactively monitor system health and performance.
Conduct complex validation testing including fault injection and brownouts to ensure system correctness and durability.
Proactively diagnose and resolve production issues while mentoring peers on troubleshooting and incident response.
Implement robust security controls, encryption, and compliance documentation for multi-tenant environments.
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools to manage cloud infrastructure and streamline change management.

What we're looking for

Must have 6 to 10+ years of experience in software engineering or related fields.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Experience architecting and developing scalable, elastic distributed systems for high-throughput workloads.
Expertise in designing fault-tolerant systems using redundancy, replication, and failover mechanisms.
Proficiency in implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation for cloud management.
