What you'll do

Architect and develop scalable distributed systems that support horizontal and vertical scaling for high-throughput workloads.
Optimize code and data paths to ensure system performance meets specific service level objectives (SLOs).
Design fault-tolerant components using redundancy, replication, failover mechanisms, and rate-limiting to handle network unreliability.
Establish telemetry, KPIs, and automated alerting systems to proactively monitor infrastructure health.
Conduct complex validation testing including fault injection and brownouts to ensure system correctness and durability.
Proactively diagnose and resolve production issues while mentoring peers on troubleshooting and incident response.
Implement robust security controls, encryption, and compliance documentation for multi-tenant environments.
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation scripts to manage cloud infrastructure updates and rollbacks.

What we're looking for

Must have 6 to 10+ years of experience in software engineering or related fields.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Experience architecting and developing scalable, elastic distributed systems for high-throughput workloads.
Expertise in designing fault-tolerant systems using redundancy, replication, failover, and rate-limiting.
Proficiency in establishing KPIs, telemetry, and building proactive monitoring dashboards and alerts.
