What you'll do

Design and architect scalable, secure infrastructure and services to ensure reliability across Windows and Linux environments.
Identify system dependencies, capacity constraints, and potential failure points before they impact service availability.
Lead the installation, configuration, and deployment of applications using runbooks, scripts, and change controls.
Troubleshoot complex issues involving operating systems, networking, certificates, and application connectivity.
Develop automation workflows to reduce manual effort and improve operational consistency.
Manage major incident response, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning for critical outages.
Execute large-scale patching initiatives for operating systems, middleware, and applications while ensuring compliance.
Create technical documentation including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.

What we're looking for

Must have 3 to 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, systems engineering, or infrastructure architecture.
Advanced hands-on experience administering Windows Server and Linux systems is required.
Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, or Chef.
Experience designing and supporting high-availability, secure, and scalable cloud environments, preferably on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Ability to lead major incident response, root cause analysis, and proactive infrastructure monitoring/alerting.
Knowledge of network protocols including DNS, firewalls, routing, load balancers, and certificate management.
Experience with vulnerability remediation, system hardening, and STIG compliance in regulated environments.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
