Principal Scientist Pharmacokinetics, Dynamics and Metabolism

What you'll do

• Develop fit-for-purpose ADME strategies to identify and mitigate disposition risks for small molecule portfolios.
• Design, execute, and interpret enzymology studies regarding clearance, in vitro-to-in vivo translation, and DDI risk.
• Integrate in vitro data to identify liabilities and propose mitigation strategies to enable project progression.
• Provide scientific ownership for ADME risk assessments to support critical project decision-making.
• Lead laboratory experiments while maintaining high standards of scientific rigor and data quality.
• Mentor and coach scientists through technical guidance, experimental oversight, and data review.
• Identify capability gaps and create new options through technology, partnerships, or novel approaches.

What we're looking for

• A PhD with 4 or more years of experience, an MS with 9 or more years, or a BS with 12 or more years in ADME sciences is required.
• Candidates must possess knowledge of enzymology and drug metabolism principles including enzyme kinetics, reaction phenotyping, and pharmacokinetic predictions.
• Experience is required in independently leading complex ADME workstreams involving study design, data interpretation, and scientific recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for technical reports, project recommendations, and presentations.
• Candidates must have experience coaching or mentoring scientists through technical guidance and experimental planning.
• Preferred expertise includes other ADME disciplines such as biotransformation, transporters, or PBPK modeling.
• Experience connecting mechanistic ADME findings to chemistry, clinical pharmacology, toxicology, or regulatory strategy is preferred.
