The Principal Project Management / Sr Principal Project Manager joins the Aeronautics Systems team to provide logistics planning support, aircraft systems integration, and maintenance support through the analysis of engineering data packages and customer directives. This individual manages operational aspects of ongoing projects, serves as a liaison between program management and project teams, reviews budgets, and develops mechanisms for monitoring progress and problem-solving. The role also involves leading capture efforts to secure new contracts by developing strategies, identifying customers, and conducting competitive assessments. Key technical requirements include experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS), AGILE methodologies, proposal operations, basis of estimates, and risk mitigation plans. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office products like Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. The work involves solving complex problems related to aircraft systems integration and maintaining mission readiness for defense programs.
Provide logistics planning support, aircraft systems integration, and maintenance support for assigned systems.
Manage project budgets, schedules, and status reports while serving as a liaison between program management and line management.
Develop mechanisms to monitor project progress and resolve issues related to productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Lead capture efforts to secure new contracts or task order business through strategic planning and competitive assessments.
Participate in bid and proposal activities including basis of estimates and historical data analysis.
Develop risk assessment plans and implement mitigation strategies for ongoing projects.
Maintain ongoing interaction with marketing teams to support business development goals.

U.S. Citizenship is required for positions requiring government clearance.
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience, Master's with 0 years, or High School Diploma and 10 years of experience are acceptable for Principal level.
Bachelor’s degree and experience, Master's with , or PhD with are acceptable for Sr. Principal level.
9 years of job-related experience may be considered in lieu of education for the Sr. Principal role.
Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and AGILE is required.
Experience in proposal operations, including Basis of Estimates and historical data analysis, is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and familiarity with risk development and mitigation plans are required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Project (preferred).
Experience in the development/sustainment of Technical Publications, IETMs, or Training products (preferred).
Active Top Secret clearance (preferred).
Previous Project Management and Logistics experience (preferred).
