As a Principal Platform Software Engineer, you will join the Cryptography division to lead the design, implementation, and operation of highly scalable services for the Key Management Service. What we're looking for
Must have 6 to 10+ years of experience.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Must possess skills in Cloud Architecture, Distributed Systems, High Availability Systems, Java, Large Scale Design, Microservices Architecture, Software Design and Development, and System Design.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team in an Agile environment to mentor junior engineers.
Must be an expert communicator to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in multiple locations globally.
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent (preferred).
Minimum 7 years in a software-engineering related position, at least half of which was in an Agile/DevOps environment (preferred).
5+ years of Java development or OO language and 5+ years of experience in building and operating distributed systems (preferred).
