What you'll do

Lead the design and development of scalable software solutions for the Oracle Managed Kubernetes platform.
Define and enforce versioning, deprecation, and rollout strategies to minimize downstream service breaks.
Drive shared observability baselines, including SLOs and error budgets, across multiple services.
Conduct performance profiling and optimization to build scalable, high-performance software solutions.
Perform debugging and troubleshooting to resolve complex software issues and API integration problems.
Implement secure coding practices and maintain adherence to architectural standards and coding standards.
Provide technical guidance, coaching, and code reviews to less experienced engineers.
Manage project timelines and delegate tasks to ensure timely completion of complex initiatives.

What we're looking for

Applicants must have 6 to 10+ years of experience.
Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Experience in platform software development and leading cross-team evolution of middleware patterns or runtimes is required.
Experience in software architecture, including structural design and performance optimization strategies, is required.
Experience in software development lifecycle management, including coding, testing, debugging, and performance profiling, is required.
Experience in implementing complex API versioning, lifecycle, and interoperability strategies is required.
Experience in implementing complex secure coding practices to prevent security vulnerabilities is required.
Experience in driving shared observability baselines, such as SLOs and error budgets, is required.
