What you'll do

Lead the evolution of middleware patterns and runtimes to ensure multi-tenant scalability and interoperability.
Define and enforce versioning, deprecation, and rollout strategies to minimize downstream impacts.
Establish shared observability baselines, including SLOs and error budgets, across multiple services.
Design and implement complex API lifecycle management and performance optimization strategies.
Conduct deep-dive debugging and troubleshooting for complex cross-service issues and infrastructure defects.
Create migration guides and adoption playbooks to improve developer experience and ecosystem consistency.
Provide technical leadership and coaching to junior engineers on architecture, code quality, and security.
Perform system maintenance, including patching critical vulnerabilities and automating deployment workflows.

What we're looking for

Must have 6 to 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Experience leading cross-team projects involving middleware patterns, runtimes, and multi-tenant scalability is required.
Ability to design, develop, and optimize complex software systems and API integrations.
Proficiency in implementing observability standards, including SLOs and error budgets.
Expertise in performance profiling, scaling strategies, and secure coding practices.
Experience providing technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring to less experienced engineers.
Ability to manage project timelines, coordinate tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
