What you'll do

Lead the evolution of middleware patterns and runtimes to ensure multi-tenant scalability and interoperability.
Define and enforce versioning, deprecation, and rollout strategies to minimize downstream impacts.
Establish shared observability baselines, including SLOs and error budgets, across multiple services.
Design and implement complex API versioning, lifecycle management, and performance optimization strategies.
Conduct deep-dive debugging and troubleshooting for complex cross-service issues and infrastructure failures.
Create migration guides and adoption playbooks to improve developer experience and ecosystem consistency.
Provide technical leadership and coaching to junior engineers on software architecture and coding standards.
Implement secure coding practices and perform system maintenance to address critical vulnerabilities.

What we're looking for

Must have 3 to 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
Proficiency in Java is required.
Expertise in core algorithms and software architecture design.
Ability to mentor and provide technical guidance to less experienced developers.
Knowledge of security best practices and implementing secure coding practices.
Experience with software development lifecycle, including testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
