What you'll do

Lead the evolution of middleware patterns and runtimes to ensure multi-tenant scale and interoperability.
Define and enforce versioning, deprecation, and rollout strategies to minimize downstream service breaks.
Drive shared observability baselines, including SLOs and error budgets, across multiple services.
Design and implement complex API versioning, lifecycle, and interoperability strategies.
Conduct performance profiling and optimization to build scalable software solutions.
Implement secure coding practices and perform periodic maintenance for critical system patches.
Produce migration guides and adoption playbooks to improve ecosystem consistency and developer experience.
Provide technical guidance and code reviews to junior engineers to ensure architectural standards.

What we're looking for

Must have 6 to 10+ years of experience.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Must have hands-on experience building and operating entire systems and services.
Must have experience driving security reviews, documentation, UX reviews, and working with Product Managers through the launch process.
Must have experience developing service-oriented architectures and RESTful web services.
Must have strong development experience in Java, C++, C#, or similar OO languages.
Must have experience with at least one scripting language for automating tasks, proof of concept work, or command line tools.
Must have experience with AWS, OCI, Oracle Database, Python, SQL, and Software Design and Development.
