The Principal NPI Program Manager joins the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure team to lead end-to-end New Product Introduction and Product Lifecycle Management for a rapidly expanding cloud infrastructure portfolio. This individual contributor manages complex hardware programs from initial concept through production ramp, sustaining engineering, and end-of-life activities. The role involves coordinating globally distributed teams across product engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, planning, quality, procurement, and data center operations to ensure successful launches. Key responsibilities include developing integrated program plans, identifying technical risks, managing Engineering Change Orders, and conducting root-cause analyses for operational issues. The candidate must possess expertise in NPI methodologies, Product Lifecycle Management systems, and Engineering Change Order processes while utilizing ERP and project management tools. This role solves critical challenges in manufacturing readiness, material availability, and scalable deployment of cloud infrastructure components.
Manage end-to-end operational execution for complex hardware products from initial concept through production ramp and end-of-life.
Develop integrated program plans that align engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, and deployment teams.
Identify technical risks and dependencies to ensure product launch schedules and quality standards are met.
Coordinate global cross-functional teams to manage material availability, production schedules, and budget requirements.
Resolve complex technical and operational blockers by leading root-cause analysis and corrective action plans.
Manage product lifecycle activities including engineering change orders, supplier transitions, and inventory disposition.
Create executive-level reports and dashboards to communicate program health, risks, and mitigation strategies to leadership.
Drive continuous improvement by developing standardized tools and processes for scalable NPI execution.
What we're looking for
Must have 8+ years of experience in technical program management, operations, product engineering, supply chain, or NPI within hardware or cloud infrastructure environments.
Must demonstrate success leading complex cross-functional hardware programs from concept through production and sustaining.
Must possess deep knowledge of New Product Introduction (NPI) methodologies and operational readiness.
Must have experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes.
Must be able to develop integrated program schedules, risk management plans, and executive dashboards.
Experience supporting hyperscale infrastructure, enterprise hardware, or cloud technology environments is preferred.
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or operational excellence methodologies is preferred.
PMP certification or equivalent program management experience is preferred.
