The Principal NPI Program Manager joins the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure team as an individual contributor to lead end-to-end New Product Introduction and Product Lifecycle Management for a growing cloud infrastructure portfolio. This role involves managing complex hardware programs from initial concept through production ramp, sustaining engineering, and end-of-life activities. The manager coordinates globally distributed teams across product engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, planning, quality, procurement, and data center operations to ensure successful launches. Key responsibilities include developing integrated program plans, identifying technical risks, managing Engineering Change Orders, and overseeing material availability and production schedules. Required expertise includes NPI methodologies, Product Lifecycle Management systems, and experience with ERP tools. The role solves critical challenges in manufacturing readiness and supply continuity for large-scale hardware products while ensuring operational excellence through data-driven decision making and proactive risk mitigation strategies.
Manage the end-to-end operational execution of complex hardware products from initial concept through production ramp and end-of-life.
Develop integrated program plans that align engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, and deployment teams.
Identify technical risks and dependencies to ensure all phase gate and exit criteria are met before product launch.
Coordinate global cross-functional teams to manage material availability, production schedules, and budget requirements.
Resolve complex technical and operational issues by leading root-cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
Manage product lifecycle activities including engineering change orders, supplier transitions, and inventory disposition.
Create executive-level status reports that translate complex technical data into actionable business updates for senior leadership.
Drive continuous improvement by developing standardized tools, dashboards, and automated workflows to optimize NPI processes.
What we're looking for
Must have 8+ years of experience in technical program management, operations, product engineering, supply chain, or NPI within hardware or cloud infrastructure environments.
Must demonstrate success leading complex cross-functional hardware programs from concept through production and sustaining.
Must possess deep knowledge of New Product Introduction (NPI) methodologies and operational readiness.
Must have experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes.
Must be able to lead technical investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions for manufacturing and test issues.
Must possess strong analytical skills to develop integrated program schedules, risk management plans, and executive dashboards.
Must have the ability to influence stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations without direct management authority.
Proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking is required.
