TL;DR
· Principal Network Developer
The Principal Network Developer joins the NRB engineering team to lead network expansion, automation, and deployment initiatives for hyperscale cloud infrastructure. This role involves decomposing high-level architectures into detailed designs, managing network lifecycle programs, and serving as a technical SME for complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis. You will build advanced automation modules, develop telemetry tools, and create reusable scripts to streamline production workflows. Key technologies include Python, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, TCP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DHCP, MPLS, and SSL. You will also utilize YANG, OpenConfig, and NETCONF for network modeling. The work focuses on designing and validating scalable enterprise and data center networks, ensuring high reliability through rigorous testing, performance characterization, and the adoption of new vendor hardware in large ISP or cloud environments.
What you'll do
Design and develop advanced network systems for scalable cloud environments while ensuring alignment with existing infrastructure patterns.
