What you'll do

  • Develop production line capabilities, factory layouts, staffing plans, and capacity models for high-volume manufacturing.
  • Partner with suppliers to assess manufacturing capability, compliance, and risk while driving corrective actions.
  • Standardize and optimize manufacturing and repair processes across global supplier sites to ensure scalable production.
  • Implement SPC, automation, and AI-driven analytics to improve quality and detect defects early.
  • Lead structured problem-solving efforts like 8D and Six Sigma to resolve recurring manufacturing issues.
  • Drive the adoption of AI/ML, IoT, and predictive maintenance technologies to improve equipment reliability.
  • Ensure products and packaging meet manufacturability, automation, and sustainability requirements during industrialization.
  • Lead technical validation strategies and risk management to mitigate tooling, schedule, and capacity risks.

What we're looking for

  • Master's degree in an engineering field and 7+ years of manufacturing or repair experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience.
  • Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check and other required security screenings.
  • Experience implementing designs through manufacturing for compute and storage workloads (preferred).
  • Proven leadership, management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills including L1/L2 Triage Capability (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and Power BI (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Valor, Creo, and Cadence Allegro software (preferred).
  • Experience with server compute, storage, GPU, or networking product development or manufacturing (preferred).
  • Doctorate degree and 5+ years experience, Master's and 8+ years, or Bachelor's and 12+ years in manufacturing/repair (preferred).
