Principal M&A Solution Architect

What you'll do

• Serve as the enterprise authority for technology architecture during merger, acquisition, and divestiture activities.
• Lead technical due diligence to assess technology maturity, cloud presence, risks, and integration complexity.
• Execute M&A technology integration playbooks for landing zone alignment, identity integration, and security harmonization.
• Define and govern enterprise solution patterns and reference architectures across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Shape enterprise technology standards, security guardrails, and governance models to influence policy decisions.
• Conduct technical assessments and optimization reviews for existing and new technology deployments.
• Mentor senior architects and engineers to raise the organization's overall architecture maturity.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Typically requires 13+ years of experience, with 8+ years of direct work-related experience.
• Less years of experience required if the candidate holds a relevant Master's or Doctorate qualification.
• 12+ years of Solution Architecture and/or relevant industry experience.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure is required.
• Strong knowledge of load balance, DNS, firewall, networking, microservices, and Terraform.
• Proven experience designing secure, scalable solutions in large-scale, heavily regulated cloud environments.
• Cloud certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Certified Solutions Architect (preferred).
