The Principal, Solution Architect joins the Global Engineering Architectural Governance team to oversee technical solutions that provide business value while mitigating technical debt. You will identify shared services to reduce redundancy, mediate conflicting priorities, and ensure alignment between technology and business strategies. Key responsibilities include managing investment spend, influencing senior decision makers, and collaborating with Enterprise Architecture groups. Required expertise includes 12+ years of development experience, Agile SCRUM management, and Big Data or Open Source experience for building modern warehouses. Technical requirements include Reconciliation experience with TLM software, Oracle and Snowflake databases, Kafka, MQ, and Spark middleware, alongside Cloud and Docker technologies. Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning is also an advantage.

What you'll do

Develop and operate the Global Engineering Architectural Governance framework.
Ensure technical solutions provide business value while actively mitigating technical debt.
Deliver multi-year technology strategies depicting target architectures and roadmaps across the portfolio.
Influence senior decision-makers and project portfolios to align with target state implementations.
Review investment spending to ensure alignment with technology roadmaps and business strategies.
Identify and escalate functional redundancies to enforce the use of firm-wide shared services.
Liaise with Enterprise Architecture groups to solve complex problems and manage technology plans.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 12+ years of development experience.
Experience in Architecture and Transformation programs.
Experience in Reconciliation with TLM software knowledge.
Strong development background using Cloud/Docker technologies.
In-depth knowledge in middleware layers like Kafka/MQ/Spark.
Agile SCRUM management experience; Agile transformation experience (preferred).
Work Authorization.
