The Principal, M&A Delivery Service Leader - Infrastructure serves as the senior technical advisor and primary infrastructure representative for enterprise integration initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic partnerships. This role partners with Program Management, Enterprise Architecture, Cloud, Network, and Cyber Security teams to assess infrastructure impacts, perform technical due diligence, and develop integration strategies. You will lead technical assessments of prospective acquisitions, review service inventories, and coordinate Day 1 readiness while providing executive advisory on risk and implementation options. Key requirements include deep knowledge of compute, storage, backup, virtualization, databases, cloud services, networking, and disaster recovery. You must possess strong business acumen to analyze implementation costs and operational impacts while managing complex, cross-functional technology transformations and developing repeatable integration methodologies and best practices.
Serve as the primary infrastructure representative for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic business programs.
Lead technical due diligence by assessing infrastructure environments, service inventories, and operational maturity for prospective deals.
Identify infrastructure risks and develop mitigation strategies for technical, resiliency, and supportability concerns.
Define infrastructure requirements, migration activities, and implementation schedules aligned with corporate standards.
Coordinate Day 1 readiness and post-integration milestones for all enterprise integration initiatives.
Provide financial and technical analysis to support business cases and optimize infrastructure costs.
Present infrastructure findings and objective recommendations to senior leadership to influence executive decision-making.
Develop repeatable integration methodologies, assessment templates, and best practices for continuous process improvement.
What we're looking for
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 13+ years of experience, with 8+ years of direct work related experience.
Less years of experience required if the candidate holds relevant Master's or Doctorate qualifications.
12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise infrastructure, solution architecture, technology integration, or infrastructure engineering.
Deep understanding of enterprise infrastructure technologies including compute, storage, backup, virtualization, databases, cloud, networking, and disaster recovery.
Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional technology initiatives and influencing strategic business decisions with executive leadership.
Strong business and financial acumen to assess implementation costs and operational impacts.
Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or large-scale technology transformations (preferred).
