What you'll do

Perform Linux administration tasks for multiple networks in a classified environment.
Maintain system reliability through installation, patching, monitoring, and configuration management.
Manage file systems, disk space, and routine virus protection services.
Provide backup and recovery services for multi-user computer systems.
Develop and maintain technical documentation of system processes and procedures.
Ensure compliance with Information Systems security guidelines and provide data for security audits.
Troubleshoot issues across hardware, firmware, software, and network layers to isolate problems.
Manage service requests and track task statuses using ticketing systems like ServiceNow or JIRA.

What we're looking for

Must have a Master's degree with 3 years experience, Bachelor's with 5 years, Associate's with 7 years, or High School/GED with 9 years.
Must possess Linux Server Administration experience in a classified environment.
Must hold at least an IAT level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CND, CCNA Security).
Must have a current U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
Must be able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance as a condition of continued employment.
U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
Preferred experience includes Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems administration and virtualization or containerization technologies.
Preferred knowledge includes networking, scripting, and operating under RMF, STIG, or JSIG environments.
