What you'll do

Manage Linux workstation and server operations for large-scale classified programs.
Perform system installations, upgrades, patching, and configuration management to ensure reliability.
Administer backup services, file systems, disk space, and routine virus protection.
Create and maintain user accounts while managing file permissions and security access lists.
Test new product releases to ensure compatibility and minimize impact on end users.
Develop and document technical processes, procedures, and hardware/software procurement recommendations.
Maintain security audit logs and prepare documentation for Information Systems Security Managers.
Troubleshoot complex issues with internal teams, suppliers, and external customers.

What we're looking for

Must possess a current U.S. Government Secret security clearance at minimum.
Must have the ability to obtain access to Special Programs as a condition of employment.
Must hold a current Security+ CE certification or be able to obtain it within 6 months of hire.
Must have experience in Linux Operating Systems support, including workstation and server management.
For Level 3: Associate's degree and 7 years experience, Bachelor’s and 5 years, Master’s and 3 years, or High School and 9 years.
For Level 4: Associate's degree and 10 years experience, Bachelor’s and 8 years, Master’s and 6 years, or High School and 12 years.
U.S. Citizenship is required for positions requiring a government clearance.
Preferred experience includes HPC systems, distributed systems, and hardware diagnostics in networked environments.
