The Principal HR Data Analyst joins the team to provide advanced analytics, data science, and workforce insights to support strategic decisions for HR leadership and business leaders. This role involves partnering with HRBPs to translate complex questions into scalable analytical solutions regarding compensation, hiring, attrition, and workforce costs. The analyst will build scenario models, forecasts, and visualizations while integrating large datasets from multiple sources. Key technical requirements include proficiency in SQL, Python or R, advanced Excel, and Oracle reporting tools like OTBI and BI Publisher. Additionally, the role involves applying machine learning and AI to improve analytics speed and sophistication. The position focuses on solving critical business problems related to talent management, workforce growth, and financial implications of employee movement while ensuring high standards for data governance and the secure handling of sensitive information.
Partner with HR and business leaders to design and interpret analyses regarding compensation, hiring, attrition, and workforce costs.
Develop scenario models and forecasts to quantify the financial implications of talent decisions on salary and equity.
Integrate complex datasets from multiple sources into scalable analytical models and actionable data visualizations.
Apply SQL, Python, R, and statistical techniques to identify trends and automate recurring HR analyses.
Implement AI and machine learning techniques to improve the speed and sophistication of workforce analytics.
Ensure the secure and responsible handling of sensitive employee data in compliance with privacy standards.
Translate complex technical findings into executive-ready narratives and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
What we're looking for
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
6 to 10+ years of experience in the field.
Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Data Management, Economics, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related quantitative field (preferred).
8+ years of experience in people analytics, data science, business analytics, workforce planning, or a related analytical discipline (preferred).
Experience with statistical modeling, forecasting, predictive analytics, or scenario analysis (preferred).
Experience applying AI, machine learning, or generative AI to analytical or business workflows (preferred).
Experience analyzing compensation, workforce cost, hiring, attrition, or other workforce financial measures (preferred).
Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, OTBI, BI Publisher, and/or Oracle Analytics Cloud (preferred).
